My clients are amazing! We came together and collected a ton of feminine hygiene products for women in shelters and who don't have homes. Period products and feminine hygiene products get expensive. Some women have to choose between eating or buying tampons. Both seem like necessities to me. Yet, tampons are taxed as a luxury item. Often, we don't think about periods when we think about donating to people without a home. Being in crisis does not stop your ...period, and improvising is not something anyone should be forced into. My clients (and my friends donated too) agreed that women in shelters and without homes should be provided with feminine hygiene products, so they generously donated. What is in this picture is not all of it! I have three more bags of tampons and pads, and some of my remote friends made monetary donations directly to @weaveinc Thank you everyone! See more
