WE HIT AN ALL-TIME RECORD THIS THANKSGIVING! Thanks to our supporters, we were able to feed over 1,000 people ! Thank you all for your endless support We also want to thank the @SFPD Central Station for helping us prepare and distribute meals and @northbeachneighbors for helping get the word out about our Holiday Meal Drive. TEL HI is always grateful for the support we get from the businesses in our neighborhood! In October Safeway and Orchard Supply Hardware donated pumpkins that were not only used for our Halloween events but also for educational purposes for our kids!

To Our Community, The most recent shooting of Jacob Blake and the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless other African-Americans and people of color has generated a wave of frustration, concern, and anger among our staff and our Board of Directors. Just as our country is devastated by their unjust deaths, TEL HI’s collective heart is also broken. Nearly every day for the past months, the staff at TEL HI has been involved in impassioned discussion...s about how best to respond to these tragedies because it is important to all of us that when we speak to you, we do so with purpose. And so we took the time to allow every member of our staff and board to have a hand in not only developing a statement but creating a long-term promise to our entire community ensuring that every day we open our doors, we are actively fighting against discrimination. To that end we present TEL HI Neighborhood Center’s Equity Pledge.
