TEAMS Conference & Expo

Being able to hold a virtual event is never easy, but the past four days have gone by fast thanks to all of the enthusiasm shown by every one of our attendees and sponsors. We appreciate Janis Burke and her team at Harris County - Houston Sports Authority for all of their expertise as our hosts and while this year's conference may be finished, we know that the networking and meetings that were held this week will result in not only future business opportunities but new friendships in the sports-event industry as we look forward to Dan Gallagher hosting us in Meet AC and Atlantic City Sports Commission in 2021.

Three days down, one to go at the TEAMS Conference! Day Three featured the National Congress of State Games awards plus our daily TEAMS Talk from U.S. Travel Association President and CEO Roger Dow, along with updates from a dozen sports-organization representatives, including the NCAA and multiple Olympic governing bodies. Attendees learned about sports sponsorship in the #COVID era during the USOPC’s SportsLink program, which featured representatives from USA Triathlon, USA Water Polo and Toyota. And the #MGM Resorts Foundation was recognized with a SportsTravel Magazinel Award as well. See you on Thursday for the final day of this year's event.
