This is remarkable...in Huntington Beach, we have sold more homes than last last year for the prior 60 days of sales volume. Yet, we have 7-10% less inventory! Lots of homes are selling off market. Ask me How!
I feel strongly that we need to do SOMETHING about the lack of affordable housing. This bill would allow an avenue for at least creating housing similar to what is popular in other beach cities where R1 zoning was converted to R2 for duplexes with garages for each lot to keep parking in check. Ad it actually passed! But got to the Assembly for a few minutes late. There is next year. Hopefully it will be put on a higher pedestal.
My friend, Andy Hudson, is developing a library on his YouTube channel called 'Career Steer' for young people to get an ideas of a variety of occupations to give them an idea of what it is like to be in these occupations. I was honored he chose me to be the profile of a Realtor. If you want to be profiled in your occupation to provide a perspective of your occupation for the younger generation, message me and I will connect you with Andy. Take care!
Rates are at HISTORIC lows. Inventory is low but sales volume is almost up to normal for past 30 days...and more! Have a listen and tag a friend.
The market is HOT in Huntington Beach and most Orange County! Another one in escrow today.
VIRTUAL HOME SELLING IS HERE TO STAY!!!
VIRTUAL HOME SELLING IS HERE TO STAY! COVID19 has permanently changed the way real estate will be sold. Video and technology assisted selling is not new, but the vast majority of people, young and old, have been forced to learn how to interact using virtual methods.
A virtual tour of a memory inspiring property in one of the most desirable and newer neighborhoods of Huntington Beach
I hope that most of you are in this situation...high equity in a home. If so, there are some smart moves you can and probably should be making. Even if as a safety net, refinance and take cash out to have in case the pandemic causes economic issues that extend beyond a year...that is a possibility.
2 items discussed: Should you miss your next mortgage payment? If I am a buyer, should I get pre-approved now?
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, two questions are answered in my discussion with my friend and loan officer, John Soricelli. 1) What happens if I miss a mortgage payment? 2) Should I get pre-approved for a home purchase now?
I definitely agree that now is a great time to get pre-approved for a loan. It will take longer than usual but if you are home anyway and plan to purchase a property...you will be ready when things calm down and rates are at what could be an all-time historic low! Good luck!
How can I help you today?
