Oh yeah! Friday night was a good night for Ethiopian food. It's Saturday and the rain is going away for the day. Our food will give you December 1st smiles, for sure! Come dine with us.

Making Injera! #1 Ground Teff, water and yeast is fermented in a covered container, usually for 3-5 days #2 The injera cooking skillet is heated up and ready for the batter #3 The fermented batter is poured onto the skillet and allowed to heat up... #4 The injera bubbles and steams a bit and it gets covered with the lid of the cooker #5 The injera is only cooked on one side. When it's ready, it's removed from the cooker and it's allowed to cool before stacking & storing. The holes that are in the injera allow the injera to absorb all the delicious spices and flavors of the food. Want some?
