Conor was one of my first clients in Napa in 2010. He was 9 months old. I remember him being so excited that he actually pulled me over and I got scraped and bruised, but I hid that from my family because I loved him, I loved my new job and I didn’t want anyone to think I couldn’t handle this handsome guy. Conor met the end of his journey. I will never forget him or his amazing parents that nurtured him and loved him every one of his days

I have news to share that is both happy and sad. After having my second child last September And being unable to work much or find experienced groomers to join the team, I found the stress of running business in Napa just too much. My parents purchased some land and I made the decision to relocate with them. This was not easy because I love so many of my Napa clients and we built such a fantastic business. I will miss every one of you so much! I am now serving the dogs ...in the beautiful Scott Valley, CA. I miss Napa, but am looking forward to a quieter life with more time with my children. As my pregnancy progresses I am realizing that I have to slow down. We have been trying so hard to find groomers to join our terrific team, but this task has proven to be hard. We have hundreds of current clients and hundreds of new requests. If you know of any person seeking a career with animals, we would be excited to train! Mobile groomers on our team receive commissions and tips, hours are flexible and the fur friends are amazing! We are also looking to hire and/...or train Brusher/Bathers to start cleaning up our clients so that they can make it until we can get to them for cuts. A Brusher/ Bather Certificate is the first step in becoming a groomer. An online course can be completed which includes, sanitary science, coat care, product use, nail clipping and basically how to clean up a pet. Now through the end of the year, 20% of net proceeds of Hersly Wines Mae Rosé, named after rescue winery dog Mae Hersly, will be going to the Sonoma Animal Shelter in Santa Rosa. The Kincade Fire in Sonoma has burned over 75,000 acres to date, with currently only 45% containment. Our hearts are broken for the victims and we share in the grief and anxiety over the unknown. The fate of the Lancel Creek Vineyard which is Hersly Pinot Noir is still unknown, but we can only hop...e for the best and for the safety of the vineyard owner who lives on property. Safety first. Besides homes, business, and structures destroyed, HUNDREDS of pets were lost during this tragedy. Some lost their lives, others lost their families. Their furry faces will break your heart. While many people are not in a position to adopt (if you are GREAT), but we can help.
