Here is a fun little trivia tidbit... I found some nifty musings to share as we usher in the Chinese New Year of the Ox... Well, it just so happens that the Hebrew letter Aleph, which means ox, is attributed to the tarot card, The Fool.... In Hebrew the letter Aleph symbolizes creative energy, life-power or life-breath. The word fool is derived from the Latin follis meaning a "bag of wind." Thus The Fool also symbolizes breath. The Fool is the breath of life. He represents the universal radiant energy, abstract mathematical concepts of nature, ageless wisdom, eternal youth expressed through confidence and joy, victory, memory, purified desire, ignorance, delusion, passion and action. The perception that time is of the essence and that synchronicities, magic and trust in the universe are essential to reaching our goals. Finally, our trusty little dog companion represents the intellect which is loyal and faithful but needs direction and management. As we go along in our respective journeys, whether it is our life journey or a major life choice as in career, marriage, or child rearing, we sometimes need to check-in on our path.
