Well another major change for restaurants again. Effective immediately indoor dining is closed. Our PATIO IS OPEN FOR DINING. We will be open 8am-2pm and 4pm-8pm for PATIO DINING, TAKE OUT and CURBSIDE PICKUP. We encourage you to pick up your Tally favorite to go or dine on the patio. Bob Jensen - what a gift this man was to our family and Tallyrand! Bob grew up in a house in the back parking lot of Tallyrand. Years later he raised his family on Reese Street just a short walk from the restaurant. Once he retired from Burbank Water & Power after 32 years as a utility lineman, he graciously opened the restaurant every morning. He would arrive at 4:30am and make the coffee, put out the creamers and jellies and always had a smile on his face. He was THE handy... man for my Dad, Al Thomas and worked along side Mark for countless years on so many projects! His personal touch and repair work can be seen throughout our place. His love for others was ever present! There was nothing he couldn’t fix and if you needed a tree trimmed, Bob was the man He loved sitting at the counter enjoying his favorite omelette or Turkey Melt with fries & ranch mixed with cholula. We were lucky to spend summers with him and his family at the beach, trips to the desert and Bridgeport. Bob - you will always be a huge part of Tallyrand and we miss you tremendously!
