The year of such high expectations that had us all shook! It was the curveball no one saw coming. We, as humans, did what we needed to do...adapt. We lost many good people along the way. Hurts my heart to know how many have suffered. We have a different respect for first responders and have seen so much humanity along the way. Sadly, we also saw injustice and inequality that no one should have to experience. Personally, I’ve learned so much from this year. I’ve learned ...that being compassionate, patient, altruistic and informed is so important in the grand scheme of life. I’ve definitely had better years and hate to say it, but I’ve had worse. That’s life.. we make it through one storm and it makes us stronger for the next unexpected whirlwind. I’m grateful for my family (and Insta-family) for keeping me grounded & sane during these challenging times. Though no one knows what the future holds, I’ll continue to be positive and pray that we will get through this. It may take some time, but when we do, we will look back on the history books of 2020 as a year we will never forget. Stay safe + have a great NYE!!
