Tai Chi LA 13.11.2020

If you are just now visiting our site for the first time, or the first time in a while, we are adhering to the CDCs rules. Which means for the time being we are not having our usual classes on Saturday mornings. I hope that we will be able to resume soon. We will certainly post that when we begin again. This is the first major disruption to a Tai Chi schedule in 52 years. We have always been at the park on Saturday mornings. Even when it rains. Even when it pours we ha...ve been there; if only briefly. This is, obviously, a highly unusual situation. I am going to try and use this time to put together some video. I have been wanting to put something together for a while. At the moment I see the real need for that. Any an all videos that I put together will be available on our website for our participants at the park. This will be, of course, free. I'm specifying that the videos will be available to our participants at the park because I like to think of these learning tools as more of a reminder of what we teach at the park, rather than a stand alone video instruction. So, when we resume, if you would like to have access to the videos, please stop by the park. Join us in practice; and I'll be happy to give you a pass code. See more

We are proud to represent the U.S., California, and our hometown, Los Angeles, on World Tai Chi and Qiqong Day 2017! Once again, an incredible thanks to Susan, one of the NTCCA's board members, for her wonderful, organic feast and everyone's participation! You are the reason we continue to practice this wonderful and historic art. We also send a huge thanks to those around the world who join us in our practice of Chinese martial arts. ... Have a peaceful spring!

IMPORTANT UPDATE! To all of our park guests, please be aware that parking availability will decrease from here on out. Sadly, Beachwood, a popular entrance leading to the Hollywood sign, is now officially closed. This means that people will be coming to our neck of the woods to find parking and hiking trails. Fear not! Our instructors will be showing up early (as we encourage you to do the same to secure a spot). If you can, arrive before 8:30 to find a spot near the park it...self. We will continue our Tai Chi Chuan instruction every Saturday!

Very exciting! The NTCCA (National Tai Chi Chuan Association) is beginning to certify our advanced members so that they can pass the torch onto the next generation. We are also administering certificates for those who have demonstrated progress and passion in learning our classic art form.
