Hanukkah Warm Coat Drive December 10-18th! Help us with our goal of donating 80 lightly used and in great condition coats to our community members in need. For third-year rabbinical and Jewish nonprofit management student, Chavya Lehrman, what started as monthly visits to Lake Tahoe - where she was helping Rabbi Ev...on Yakar '07 provide more services, events, and outreach for the two congregations in the area - changed entirely when the pandemic hit. "We partnered with Rabbi Alan Rabishaw '91 at Temple Or Rishon and became a five-person programming team leading 1-3 programs a day. In addition to leading Shabbat services almost every week from my parents’ home in the Bay Area, I also created a class called Mussar Yoga and spearheaded a task force on reimagining engagement and connection for our three congregations.
