Thanks to the quick thinking of our general manager Chris Taylor, a really awful start to 2021 was averted. Around 9:30 pm last night, an employee and Chris noticed the kitchen was filling with smoke. Chris called 911 right away. It took a while for firefighters to figure out the culprit - a customer had pushed a heat lamp up against an outside wall, which was slowly burning the trim and filling the inside with smoke. Please, everyone, be aware that these gas heat lamps do pose a fire danger. We are so thankful and fortunate that this was not worse, and we are grateful for the quick response of the many fire departments that responded.

Our outdoor pergola is coming along nicely. Still waiting on heaters. When the stay-at-home order is lifted, we will be ready for winter outdoor dining!
