Everyday is Earthday....

Beautiful Lake Tahoe from the rim trail. I love this place.

It's a frenzy. In the last 7 days there have been 85 properties that have gone into escrow. That's high for any year at this time of year. Granted that we just had Memorial Day weekend and the weather was perfect but the spike in activity is mainly due to people wanting to get out of the Bay Area and be in the mountains. They have figured out that they can work from home and home does not need to be in such congested areas. The week before this one there were 53 properties t...hat went into escrow and the week before that 35 properties went into escrow. I'm wondering what will happen when the stay at home orders in the Bay Area are lifted and people are allowed to travel for leisure. Maybe we've peaked, or maybe not. Only time will tell but right now, it's pretty busy out there in the real estate world. The prices are remaining pretty steady.
