Today Tahoe Ability Program participants braved the weather for a bundled up walk!

A new month means new packets! February’s packets have several interactive activities ranging from Valentine’s Day crafts to lessons about Black History Month. We can’t wait to dive in!

Last week we learned about the history of petroglyphs, and also got a chance to make our own! The bumpy texture of sand paper mimicked that of a rock wall. Everyone’s animals came out great!

Today Chanel & Jimmy enjoyed a COVID friendly walk on the beach. We are taking advantage of this unseasonably warm weather! Chanel also had the chance to work on her goal of taking pictures and sending them to her friends

Practicing kitchen safety is always important! Over Zoom we go through different scenarios we may encounter in the kitchen, and everyone says if that is safe or unsafe. We then discuss why, and what we could do differently. With so many of us staying home and using our kitchen more, this is a life skill that has grown in importance.
