This is very encouraging news. Barrett's can lead to esophageal cancer if not treated. We are the only center in our area performing this surgery.

This is a video showing the technique of attaching the esophagus to stomach after resection of distal esophagus for cancer. Just one of many examples of what we can do with the da Vinci robot to avoid huge abdominal and chest incisions.
