Position open in a progressive, developmental and play based preschool program, connected to an independent elementary school. Work in a team of engaged educators to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for 3 - 5 year olds. With an emphasis on social skills development and rich literature, our little scientists discover their world through hands-on activities and experiential learning. Team teaching and a deep understanding of the developmental norms of this ...age range is a must. Musical, artistic abilities, bilingual or science backgrounds would be a great addition to our team. Applicants must be able to lift 30 pounds, have an up to date immunization and flu shot record, communicate well with parents and children and minimum of twelve (12) ECE units preferred. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to, weekly lesson plans, assist teachers and students in large and small groups, care and maintenance of classroom and playground, uphold California Licencing requirements, stocking supplies and, most importantly, care for and nurture our active students.
