Sycuan FD crews responded to the Sloane Fire around noon today which was approximately 2 miles from the Sycuan Casino. The forward rate of spread was quickly stopped.

Vehicle fire in the parking lot of Sycuan Square on 5/17/20. Sycuan FD crews responded and quickly extinguished the fire.

Sycuan FD responded as part of strike team 6440A last night to assist in the fires started during the La Mesa riots. We hope this comes to an end soon.

Today we honor and pay tribute to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Firefighter Connor Brown has successfully completed his probation. Unfortunately we were not able to do a formal badge pinning ceremony due to COVID-19 but Chief Carrillo was able to do bade pinning. Congratulations Connor!

Yesterday we gave our farewell goodbye to our Office Manager Laurie Bell as we gave her a honorary escort off the Sycuan Reservation. Laurie served 20 years in the US Navy and left as a Chief Petty Officer then spent 20 years at the Sycuan Fire Department as the Officer Manager. We will miss you Laurie!
