Sycamore Creek Animal Hospital 01.02.2021

6/20/2020 A few updates regarding the hospital & COVID 19 regulations: - We are still open during normal business hours - We are requiring face coverings to be worn for anyone entering the hospital as per state requirements. - We are also still following social distancing guidelines and ask for your help to maintain 6 ft of distance, meaning if the lobby is full please wait outside or check in from your vehicle whenever possible... - As a result of COVID 19 and the veterinary community experiencing extremely high volumes of patients, wait times are significantly longer and we ask for your patience during this unprecedented time as we continue to strive to provide the best care for all of our patients. - We are also experiencing extremely high call volumes, we sincerely apologize for our long hold times and are truly doing our best to keep up. Attention SCAH Family & Friends: At this time we are still open during normal business hours! However, we are currently experiencing longer wait times both in hospital and on the phone due to COVID-19. In an effort to maintain the recommendation of social distancing of a minimum of 6 feet, we are seeing appointments a little differently. We ask for your patience during this time, and if you find you are on a tight schedule we are happy to reschedule you at a later dat...e. You may also notice when you come in that there are (temporarily) less chairs in the lobby, and we ask that if the lobby has more than 6 people in it, you wait outside or in your car. Additionally, we are happy to come to your car if you are uncomfortable coming into the building just call ahead or when you are in the parking lot. See more

Attention Sycamore Creek Animal Hospital friends & family: We at Sycamore Creek Animal Hospital are committed to prioritizing the health and safety of pets and their owners, and we are closely monitoring developments related to COVID-19. At this time we wanted to assure everyone that yes, we are still open during normal business hours. We ask that our clients that are feeling under the weather (or if you have a direct family member with similar symptoms) resch...edule any upcoming non-urgent appointments or plan to send a family member over the age of 18 years old, if your pets need to be seen. We will continue to provide safe sanitary practices in hospital as well as quality care for your beloved furry family members during this time. Additionally, if you are uncomfortable coming into the office for your pets appointment but you would still like to be seen, please do not hesitate to call the office ahead of your scheduled appointment. We are happy to make some adjustments to accommodate and try to reduce transmission as well as stress during this difficult time. Here are a few questions we hope to have answered regarding your pets: *Can My Pet Contract the Coronavirus?* The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says the disease is spread to humans through person-to-person contact. There have been no reports of pets or livestock becoming ill or spreading the coronavirus in the U.S. Likewise, the World Health Organization has stated that there is no evidence that dogs or cats have become ill with this particular virus. *Wash Your Hands* Although there is no current evidence that suggests the coronavirus can be transmitted to or from companion animals, it’s always a good idea to follow basic hygiene practices around animals. This includes washing your hands thoroughly throughout the day and before and after direct contact with your pets, their food or their supplies

This little tank is Monty and he is looking for his forever home for the holidays. He is a handsome 1.5 year old pit bull/bulldog mix. He is a muscular body builder all wrapped up in a tiny 45# body with a heart of gold. He loves toys and belly rubs and gets along great with his two pitty foster sisters. He was found as a stray (no owner has been found) and has been staying with one of our staff members for the past couple weeks while being treated for a bad ear infection and abscess on his foot. Monty has been nothing but a gentlemen, rides great in the car and is learning basic obedience as well as being kennel trained. He will be neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. If your interested in opening up your home to this amazing stud muffin contact us for details.
