BIG Sycamore Exchange this week AND PTO Virtual Fall Festival pick-ups!!! 10/21 We have ALL grade levels scheduled for the exchange. ... 12-1 and 5-6 are the times. Location will be in the North parking lot. Enter on Caldwell/280 and exit on Rd 68. PTO will also have an area to pick up pumpkins if you pre-ordered one, and an area to pick up pulled pork meals if you ordered those (see other Bloomz post with details and links to order both). We greatly appreciate you pre-ordering these items so that we can keep things flowing on Friday. Pumpkin area will be in the north parking lot, near the east end where 7/8 booth is located. (Open 12-1 AND 5-6pm) Pulled pork booth will be in the front-of-school parking lot near the southwest corner of campus by the large Sycamore tree. You can stop off there after heading through the exchange. This pick-up is ONLY happening at the 5-6pm exchange time. Last, but not least, I’m still looking for more art for my wall! Here’s a quick vid with the most recent additions. Plenty of room for more from YOU!

Important Info for SVA Families: Hey SVA Families, This is just a reminder that SVA will be fully closed on this Thursday and Friday, and next Monday, the 15th, 16th and 19th. ... There will be no instruction (synchronous or asynchronous) for those days. Day Camp is also closed on those days. There is no Sycamore Exchange this Friday. We encourage you to please prioritize your conference with your scholar’s teacher(s) over these days. They are eager to meet with you and discuss how things are going thus far. Campus will be fully shut down. This also means there will be NO Sycamore Exchange this week on Friday. Next Tuesday, the 20th, we’ll be back at it!! Conferences Are Coming! Ok SVA families, we are trying a little different set up for conferences this year. We are going to be holding them earlier than normal in the trimester. The first set of conferences for this year will be held via Zoom on October 15th and 16th. ... Teachers will be reaching out with scheduling instructions. We will open scheduling to families with multiple students tomorrow and then open to all others on Friday this week. Your teacher will want to chat about how things are going so far and will want to connect with you on Individual Learning Plan goals that make sense for your scholar at this time. Report cards will still come out in November, at the end of the trimester, so they will not be discussed at this conference. Instead, you will likely discuss potential issues with things that can possibly be addressed before things get to the report card stage. Lastly, please remember that instruction will not be provided on those days, which is the same as would be our practice if we were in school. We look forward to the opportunity to connect and communicate with you in a couple weeks!
