Tomorrow is Dec 1. (In case you don’t know what day it is). Can you believe it? I’m Simultaneously shocked & relieved. Are you feeling the same?

I shared the news on my stories more in depth but I thought I should post it here as well. In January I started looking for a new storefront location because our shop wasn’t exactly the right fit for a busy flower shop. We frequently ran out of space for larger events and the upkeep was a tad more than I wanted to handle. I found the perfect location, put in a full price offer and that very same day the owners decided they didn’t want ...to sell it after many many months on the market. I decided it was a God thing and it definitely turned out to be the VERY best thing because then the covid shutdown happened. I was blessed to have a spare garage at home that we quickly turned into an amazing studio while we all struggled to keep our kids learning online and keep business going. Fast forward to today our little studio has been working great and since the shop has sat empty for the last 7 months it was time to put it up for lease. The old house won’t be the storefront for much longer but we (Sweet Memories) AREN’T going anywhere! We will continue doing what we have been doing while my Jr. Higher is still on distance learning. Once covid goes bye bye or the kids are more consistently in school I will fine a new home better than ever! We are definitely listening to where God is calling us even though sometimes it’s hard to give up the tangible things we think make us important. The only thing that might change a little in the future is the option of a Pick Up. I am working on that though! So if you’re driving around and see a really cute retail location that is for sale or lease...maybe some old brick involved or a Paris flower shop vibe..send me a DM Always on the lookout!
