Throughout my years as an instructor I have taught many people, both adult and children. The biggest mistake I've witnessed is parents wanting their children to advance in skill and rank quickly. Martial arts training is a journey, not a destination. Everyone, whether it be child or adult, learn at their own pace. This cannot and should not be rushed for a moment of glory. I give everyone that trains in the art of karate the utmost respect and want everyone to enjoy their personal journey.
