Emphasizes chemical-based processes including liquid emulsions such as cyanotypes and Liquid Light, as well as other techniques. Introduces alternative applications of technology in photography, including xerographic, digitally created negatives, and the merging of digital and chemical techniques. There will be 2 more opportunities to return your borrowed equipment to SWC. 5/19 12:00 pm 3:00 pm 5/21 9:00 am 12:00 pm... Before You Arrive: Make a sign to place in your front passenger side window. On it, write the following: Full name, Student ID#, Class (example: Art 205) Place the equipment in your trunk. If you don’t have a trunk, place it in a rear area of the vehicle. Location & Directions: Enter SWC Chula Vista Campus from Otay Lakes Road onto Elmhurst. Follow the arrows into Parking Lot A. The Drop-Off area will be in the middle row of the solar panels. At the Drop-Off area, stay in your vehicle. Unlock or pop the trunk. A Photo Department member will remove the equipment. We will record the equipment returned along with the info on your sign. Please understand that we won’t take the time to talk to anyone. Follow the arrows to leave campus on Gotham street. Later, you will receive an email about confirmation of the returned equipment. Any questions on the condition of the equipment will be in the email. We are practicing social distancing and limiting all contact with other people. Thank you for your understanding. Questions about the return process can go [email protected]. Questions about equipment can go to [email protected]. Additional Information: There may be a line of cars entering the campus. Please be patient as we try to move the line as quickly as possible. Please keep your windows up when approaching the Drop-off area. SWC employees will be managing the return equipment process. They will be using Personal Protection Equipment including mask and gloves when obtaining equipment from the vehicle. We will only be touching the outside of the vehicle to open a trunk door or rear door if needed. We will only be touching Photography equipment when reaching into the vehicle. We will not be socializing with people in the vehicle in order to keep in line with social distancing protocols. Please understand that students are still not allowed outside of their vehicles on the SWC campus except for within the bus stop waiting area. If you can only come to campus by bus, please email Micajah Truitt a [email protected]. We will contact you and set a more exact day and time to expect you.
