Congratulations to Steve Herum, who has been named a 2019 Northern California Super Lawyer by the prestigious Law & Politics Magazine. This selection was made after Law & Politics surveyed approximately 47,000 lawyers in Northern California, and represents a compilation of the top five percent of lawyers. Steve was first selected as a Northern California Super Lawyer in 2004. Steve is one of the few attorneys who has been recognized in three areas: Land Use, Real Estate, and Environmental. Previously, the California State Bar Association’s California Lawyer Magazine named Steve Land Use Lawyer of the Year. It was the only time that a Central Valley attorney received this statewide recognition.

Herum\Crabtree\Suntag is proud and excited to announce that the Honorable Lesley D. Holland, Superior Court Judge, retired, has joined the firm. Judge Holland will focus primarily on conducting mediations and arbitrations. Judge Holland served 23 years on the San Joaquin County Superior Court before retiring from that position earlier this year. Before that, he practiced law at several Stockton law firms. Judge Holland is a California native. He grew up in Santa Maria, receiv...ed his undergraduate degree from Occidental College, and received his law degree from U.C. Hastings. Judge Holland’s many years of experience in conducting settlement conferences and his training as a mediator, including attending the prestigious Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, will place him among the top echelon of Central Valley and Northern California mediators.
