Simi Valley High’s Education Pathway and Sinaloa staff rock it at tonight’s VCI Entree to Employment. Staff and students enjoy dinner with superintendents, counselors, teachers, mental health specialists, special education, and other experts in Education.
Took these kiddos from my ROP Honors Choreography class to Moorpark College a few days ago where they are invited every semester to perform in their Evening of Dance. What a great way to finish off our (many!) performances for the year! #imsotired #tiredbuthappy #lovemyjob
The 3rd Annual Skoolcade competition was on Saturday. I took 14 students along with students from Simi HS to the event. Our top three games were created by teams of student designers from each grade level coincidentally. The competition featured games made by 400 students from 18 different schools representing 7 different districts including Ventura and LA county and were grouped by elementary, middle and high schools. The middle school field was the most competitive with 23 different games. Games were judged by industry professionals and students were also interviewed in the judging process. Our 7th grade team, comprised of Ryan Nguyen, Matthew Moreno and Mason Hewitt won First Place! I couldn't be more proud of their outstanding effort. Michael Wozniak
Did you know Santa Su’s Professional Music Pathway sung impromptu Amazing Grace with Billy Rae Cyrus and made it to the semi-finals in a first ever National Competition? Cafe Troubadour is a testament to their talent, creativity, collaboration and discipline. One more show at 7P tonight!

Hillside Middle School Aeronautics uses flight simulators today in the classroom! Thank you Mrs. Stiller for your continued efforts to make this experience a reality for our Eagles!
Portfolio Day at Valley View Middle School was a success. The quality of student presentations, research, resumes, thoughtfulness, and breadth of their work impressed me first two levels A) Our future is going to be supported by brilliant, talented, and kind young adults The coordination and teamwork of the Valley View teachers results in extremely high quality of student work. Students had a great understanding of themselves and the importance of classwork and projects from US History, engineering investigations, Spanish, algebraic word problems, to poetry and music. Well done Valley View! Here students are interviewed by Simi Valley School Resource Officer, Dentist Dr. Berger, and retired elementary teacher Marilyn VanDyke.
