[SVKS Volunteers leadership program] Following the Spring Session Leadership Orientation SVKS created various online training programs for high school student volunteers during the school closure, such as 1) How to promote Korean in the world, 2) Korean History and Culture in California’s new social studies textbooks, 3) Guest Speaker Series, 4) Leadership Forum, 5) COVID19 Forum-We are All in This Together’, etc *Further Info: https://tinyurl.com/svksvolunteer... Through the programs, many great ideas were discussed. Among them, we are planning to post some of our volunteers’ articles on our Facebook page. Here is the first posting by our volunteer, Hyunjun Kim. I was motivated to create these presentations because many of my friends were into modern Korean cultures, like Korean dramas, music videos, or movies. I wished to create lessons for students not only to learn the interesting language, but also to utilize the skills in translating famous movie lines, lyric meanings, and much more. https://docs.google.com//1kT-WshYk6ypsA6tq4oAzJ495am/edit
