Congratulations to the Winners of the 15th annual Silicon Valley Innovation Challenge (SVIC): Best Overall Innovation 1st place: Paragit Solutions (a medical device to assess the main symptoms of Parkinson’s disease)... 2nd place: Medixflow (a digital voice assistant to schedule caregivers’ tasks in senior care facilities) 3rd place (tied): Sun Patches (Ultra Violet Bulb plasters for psoriasis treatment) and Vessel Athletics (an innovative athletic-wear top with a removable hydration pack) Social Innovation award (tied): Hellen Keller (a mobile app to enable the deaf and blind to communicate with others) and Medixflow Educational Innovation award: BridgeBrain (a web-based, peer-to-peer collaborative platform for university networking for research projects) Best Elevator Pitch: Jasmine Sanchez for Vessel Athletics People's Choice Award: SpotMe Solutions (an app to find parking in real-time).
