Be a Friend of ARPD Do you love the incredible landscapes of the Lake Almanor Basin and appreciate the many recreational opportunities available to you? Is the ...creative act of brainstorming and strategic planning in your wheelhouse of fun? How about the challenge of searching, receiving and bringing funding streams to fruition, all to the benefit of your community? Are you a visionary or sports fan who would like to see more youth and adult recreational programming, such as Pop Warner football, basketball, art classes, softball or horseshoe tournaments, week long educational camps, or even weekly culinary classes? If your answer is yes to any of the above, be a Friend to Almanor Recreation and Park District. You can support your unfunded recreation district by volunteering to coordinate a youth football league, registering runners for the Fourth of July Chester Classic 5k Fun Run, manning a station during a Poker Walk or Run, or financially supporting the district's annual wish list. Whatever your talent, life or work experiences, anything you can share will be greatly valued by the Almanor Recreation and Park District.
