Love this. Communication is verbal and non-verbal. Standing at the door, in costume, with a bag or bucket IS communicating Trick or Treat. Be kind.....alway!

I’m sure most of you who look at my SLP page can relate. If you have your child in speech/language therapy and are following your SLP’s recommendations, you are doing all you can! Either way you didn’t cause the delay. Something I’ve heard and love is to compare is to despair. Focus on what your particular child bring to the table and celebrate all their accomplishments. Cassie, thanks for sharing this lovely piece!
