Surf City Classics would like to thank our dear brother Jacob Machowsky for all of his hard work and dedication that he puts forth towards the club, especially behind the scenes when no one notices. Due to his selfless attitude, he’s helped grow our club grow into what it is today, and we’re all extremely thankful to have him be such a prominent part of SCC! Thank you for all that you do Jacob, you rock!!

1/6/2021 from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. @ Lake Park, HB, CA - Memorial Cruise for Legends: Daniel (Dano) Patten & Tommy Simpson

Lets all come together for our fallen brother Dano and show him how much he was truly loved and respected and give him a HERO's burial! He deserves to be laid down to rest the way we all deserve. The funds collected here will all go to cover his burial and funerial expenses and what money is left after the expenses will be donated in Dano's name to local HB Waymakers Youth Shelter, just like Dano would want! We also want to get the city to put a plaque in his memory on Main S...t, HB, so some funds might be used towards that as well. Everyone please keep our dear friend Cody Garling in your prayers, as he is currently in the ICU. We all love ya Cody, and we’re praying and wishing that you better soon, so that you can come cruise with us on Cruise Night again in short order!

Everyone please continue to pray for our buddy Russell DeBie and keep him in your thoughts! Also please pray for our good pal Patrick Comfort as he’ll be going in for surgery in the morning!

UPDATE: Tonight we will be cruising to Kaiser hospital in Irvine to go see our good pal Russell DeBie and show him some love! We will be cruising there at 7 P.M. and will be meeting in the parking lot. The address is 6640 Alton Parkway, Irvine, CA 92618. Hope to see as many of you there as possible to support Russ through this difficult time!

Attention: Cruise Night is cancelled this week due to the fires and poor air quality! Also, the club needs an urgent prayer request! Russell DeBie is in the hospital with pneumonia. Our prayers are with him and his family at this time. Let’s wish for a speedy recovery so Russell can be back at Cruise Night in no time!

It’s time for the SCC Annual First Responder Cruise Night! Tomorrow we will be honoring the men and women who put their lives on the line every day, and giving them lifetime memberships. Mayor Lyn Semeta and council member Mike Posey will also honor them with certificates from the city. We have quite a few important people coming including: Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer, Assembly Woman Connie Petrie, former senator and candidate for Assembly Janet Nguyen, an...d filmmaker Jack Marino. We have the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1024 with a 40 foot Huey coming! Come out and honor them in a grand fashion! Join us at Lake Park for this spectacular event!! Thank them for all they do in our community

We’re only a few days away from the First Responder Cruise! This year’s cruise will be featuring a very special treat: a LifeSaver Helicopter from the Vietnam War. Accompanying the helicopter will be veterans Dennis C. Phillips, Robert L. Harrison, Manuel Alvarez, and Lynn Bennink. This is going to be an amazing event, so let’s get a strong showing to honor these brave men for what they’ve done for our country!

Next Week is our 3rd Annual First Responder Cruise! Come on out and support the men and women that put their lives on the line every day. Thank them for what they do in our community. Tomorrow night is Cruise Night!! We will be meeting early this week, 5-6:30 p.m. at Lake Park, and then Brian will start Cruise News at 6:30. We will cruise one lap dowtown, then head to see Tommy Simpson. His address is 260 E 16th Street in Costa Mesa. Also, tomorrow night we are cruising for Ernie Fisher, as it is Ernie’s last week before he moves to Arizona. He has been an SCC member since the beginning, so we will miss him dearly! Come say goodbye!

Tomorrow is the latest installment of the now world famous, Quarantine Cruise! SCC will be meeting at PCH and main tomorrow morning in Seal Beach, between 7:00am and 7:15 am. Hope too see you all there! Let’s represent SCC loud and proud! Also, there might be a little surprise waiting...

It’s Cruise Night!! This week we are cruising for Esther Hollister. Gone too soon! Thoughts and prayers for her family and friends. She will be missed! February 5, 1967 - August 17, 2020. We will be meeting at Lake Park at 6 P.M. and then make our two laps at 7!
