Received as a gift some 30 years ago, the builder has been working on this model on and off as job transfers, children and life permitted. Started out as a solid hull wood kit the master craftsman has darn near replaced, rebuilt and fabricated each piece with TLC and attention to detail. Note that all spars and masts are lathe turned and tapered by hand. Also not the fit and finish of the joints around windows and other deck fittings. Truly a remarkable model and worth the long wait to see it completed!
