Happy Halloween!! Anyone have costumes or decorations that are bowling themed?? Let's see them!!

It continues to be a frustration seeing hundreds and thousands of people funnel through grocery stores and Costco’s every weekend, while street fairs, family en...tertainment centers, and LEGOLAND can’t operate. There continues to be inconsistencies from the State. We are told we need to lower our positivity rate and businesses can’t open until we do so, but then in the last week, the state has allowed indoor museums to open to 25% and for rock climbing walls and hot tubs to open. Again, the state is picking winners and losers, allowing certain businesses to operate. Why can a rock-climbing facility open, safely, according to the State, and bowling alley can’t?

Reminder!!!! There is a rally to reopen California bowling centers tomorrow at Kearny Mesa Bowl. We are a huge bowling family and need to band to together and make our voices heard. Please remember to bring you face coverings, signs, water, and sunblock as it's going to be another hot day. Don't forget to social distance yourself too! The Surf Bowl management and ownership team take the safety and health of our customers and staff very seriously and remains to be our top priority. Due to recent developments and restrictions and after long consideration, we regretfully have to inform our community that the bowling center will be re-closing, effective immediately. We are saddened with the news but will be closely monitoring the ongoing conditions and will re-open when it is safely and feasible to do so.... Please stay safe and healthy!

We are looking for part time help! We have a couple positions in customer service available immediately. Please apply within during business hours (Thursday to Friday). Must be at least 18 years old and available to work nights and weekends. If you would like an application emailed to you, please email [email protected] and request one. Today is the day!! We are re-opening today at 1p!!

Re-opening Thursday, June 18th! Please be advised of the following COVID-19 guidelines we will be following: ~ Facial Coverings required throughout facility, but not required while in bowling area during bowling ~ 6' Social Distancing required with 50% capacity (utilizing every other lane) ~ No outside food or drink (including water bottles, hydroflasks, etc.) - NO exceptions... ~ Customer Safety protocols includes: cleaning and disinfecting all equipment between uses, pre-shift employee wellness assessments, etc. ~ Traffic flow into and out of specific areas to ensure social distance requirements ~ No specials, coupons, discounts, "Kids Bowl Free," leagues, tournaments, or any other special programming until further notice ~ Lane rental by the hour will be available (no by the game option) and shoe rental not included ~ Walk-ins are accepted Disclaimer: "An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.
