Veterinary services are OPEN - Update on Santa Clara County's Shelter-In-Place restrictions As a follow up to our earlier announcement regarding our new safety protocols we have in place, we wanted to address the recent updates and assure you that we are remaining OPEN. Several Bay Area counties have ordered Shelter in Place, but veterinary clinics fall under essential businesses that can remain open during the restrictions. To best serve our clients and our patients alike, ...we will be staying OPEN for the foreseeable future and will continue to provide care, surgeries, and medications for our patients. UPDATED HOURS: We are still open, with special "curbside service" protocols in place to keep our clients and staff safe. We are making the following temporary adjustments to our schedule at our Sunnyvale clinics until further notice: Starting Saturday, March 21 the Cat Clinic will be temporarily closed on Saturdays and Wednesdays (we will still see cats in the main clinic next door on these days). Beginning Saturday March 28, both Sunnyvale Clinics will be temporarily CLOSED on Saturdays. Our San Jose location Oakridge Veterinary Clinic will remain open on Saturdays. We appreciate your patience as we navigate these uncertain times. One thing remains certain: we are committed to caring for your pets.

Update: Adopted! Boots is looking for a special home! He is 9 years young and would do best in a quiet house with adults and quiet older pets. He does have special needs: he was an undiagnosed diabetic for a while so has some neuropathy in his legs, especially the hind ones. He is currently in remission but needs to be on a strict diet of canned prescription diabetic food. As he has lost weight, his mobility has improved. He is very affectionate and loving, and he is also very playful. He is living with us at the cat clinic right now, so please let us know if you would like to meet him! Over at our San Jose location @oakridgevet we have a mama and kittens! We have had them for several weeks, and the kittens are about 5 1/2 weeks old now and they are getting so active! We are fostering them, along with their mama (who is a total love!), for Furrever Cat & Kitten Rescue @furrevercatandkitten Please contact them or @oakridgevet if you are interested in adopting!
