Unsure about what kind of mask is the safest to wear while outside of your home? Here is some helpful guidance from the CDC to help clarify! https://www.cdc.gov//prevent-ge/about-face-coverings.html.
JUST WEAR THE MASK. Make sure it covers your mouth AND nose. Stay 6 feet away from others. Wash your hands. Stay home if you can. COVID-19 cases are rising fast... across the U.S., and if we don’t act together and do what we can to slow the spread, thousands more could die. Do your part. Get the facts: https://bit.ly/3bGvO6p

It's Election Day, and we encourage you to exercise your right to vote! Both Columbia and Sunnyvale Middle Schools are in-person polling places and are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on November 3. Even if your name is not on the voter list at the polling place, you have the right to vote with a provisional ballot. Your provisional ballot will be counted only after the elections official has confirmed you are a registered voter and you did not vote anywhere else in that election.... The poll worker can give you information about how to check if your provisional ballot was counted and, if it was not counted, the reason why. Vote-by-mail ballots that are personally delivered must be delivered no later than the close of polls at 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Vote-by-mail ballots that are mailed must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by your county elections office no later than 3 days after Election Day. If you are not sure your vote-by-mail ballot will arrive in time if mailed, bring it to any polling place in your county between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Need to register on Election Day? In the State of California, you can register in person on Election Day. Use this polling place lookup tool to find your local polling location. The County of Santa Clara Registrar of Voters provides information on how to register to vote, as well as a complete list of polling places and voter drop-off locations. https://www.sccgov.org/sit//Pages/Registrar-of-Voters.aspx
