Changes in Temple Schedule Respected Devotees, Due to new guidelines from the County Health Department and an abundance of caution for our community, we have come to the following decision. ... Effective from 9:00 PM on Saturday March 14, 2020 the Temple will be closed to the public. This closure will last until March 31, 2020 or longer if deemed necessary. This is not a decision that was taken lightly, but was needed to protect our devotees, employees and the general public. As everyone knows the spread of the virus has steadily grown larger and will continue to do so unless drastic measures are taken. After declarations from Federal, State and County authorities were given we immediately took proactive steps to limit the potential spread of the virus, but the rate of spread has continued to grow. With the new guidelines issued by the County Health Department, we felt it was prudent to temporarily close the Temple to minimize any potential spread and protect our community. Please rest assured that although the Temple is closed to the public, our dedicated priests will be performing the daily puja, abishekham and other required rituals for the various deities. Concurrently, our maintenance staff will be doing a thorough deep cleaning of all surfaces and attending to required maintenance during this time period. We are truly sorry we have to temporarily close our doors to the public. With everyone's cooperation and understanding we will emerge from this situation as a stronger community and look forward to once again resuming normal activities.
