So why would a page dedicated to restaurant marketing be sharing a page about shoes? You see it's standard practice for folks in the retail, whether shoes or food to use pictures in their marketing. Good pictures. https://www.facebook.com/ShoeDazzle
Pictures catch peoples attention when your post shows up in your followers news feed. Go ahead and spend a few minutes looking at national brands Facebook pages. https://www.facebook.com/deltaco
Continuing our August theme of looking at how the big chains use their Facebook pages. Today we look at Applebee's. Always a picture with their post. Are you picking up the theme here? https://www.facebook.com/applebees
Soapbox week! Yippee! Take a peek McDonald's Facebook page. Every post has a picture or a video. Quality pictures. McDonald's employs some of the best marketing people around. They include pictures in every post because it works. https://www.facebook.com/McDonalds
Sometimes these restaurant reviewer pictures make me cringe. This poor restaurant, newly opened gets a nice spread in the local paper. I'm not sure what color that is in the sandwich. Another mystery is what part of this picture is in focus? Cringe. Do you have professional photographs of your food available so this doesn't happen to you? http://www.redlandsdailyfacts.com//lounge-22-opens-french-
It seems so obvious. Yet so many restaurants are missing these simple things or have them buried somewhere on their site. People visit your website because they are looking for something specific. What's for breakfast? From a recent photo shoot for a new advertising campaign and menu refresh.
I disagree & agree. Facebook pages offer a horrible return. Period. They are a big dark hole where a lot of valuable time gets tossed away. However they are also critical for a restaurant. These days people arrive at your website or Facebook page because they are looking for something. Typically something specific. Use your Facebook page to provide information about your restaurant. In words & pictures. Also make it easy to find. http://www.forbes.com//facebook-pages-are-a-bad-investmen/
