Letter for Reopening a Practice Dear Patients We are excited to announce that Sun Acupuncture Group, Inc will again see patients in our office as of 08-10-2020. We are also able to provide you services via telemedicine (video visit) if you would like to be seen from your home. As we adjust our schedules and office flow to support recommendations by the CDC, we ask for your patience and understanding as we move through difference phases of reopening. Here’s what you can expect from Sun Acupuncture Group, Inc during this time: 1. Our providers will be alternating work schedules to provide access to care while allowing for social distancing. 2. Patients and staff will be required to wear masks (cloth or surgical) while in the office unless asked to take them off by staff during appointment. 3. We have rearranged our waiting room and workspaces to help with social distancing. 4. If you need assistance during your visit, we ask that the person who brings you in waits in his/her car until your appointment is over to help us limit the number of people in the clinic at any one time. 5. If you have a caregiver who needs to attend the visit with you, he or she will also need to wear a mask. Please inform staff if this is the case. 6. Upon arrival, each patient (and caregiver, if there is one) will have their temperature taken and may be asked specific COVID-19 screening questions. 7. We will gather information through as many contactless ways as possible and will establish handwashing protocols for everyone. 8. We will communicate any changes as we move through this process. If you prefer or need to talk to your provider by phone only, this is an option as well. This allows you and your provider to connect via your electronic device or phone without going to a clinic for an appointment. During your video or phone consultation, I can talk to you about your health concerns, work on a care plan, and if needed, provide natural herbs while you remain safe in your home. Phone/Eail Orders for Natural Herbs If you need natural herbs,not everyone feels comfortable purchasing online with credit cards. For these patients, we offer a number of other ways to purchase. Phone Orders As a courtesy to our customers who prefer to place orders over the phone instead of online, you may now order via phone during normal business hours. If you're calling outside of normal business hours or we're helping other customers, please leave a detailed message with your callback number, and we will return your call as soon as possible.
