A HUGE thank you to CAL FIRE and Cal OES with the assistance of Public Health for securing PPE for Summitview! This has been quite the challenge, and we are so appreciative of recognizing the need for those living in and working in congregate care. Having our staff and youth protected is truly priceless.

Thank you is nowhere near adequate in expressing our gratitude for our staff continuing to work and serve our most vulnerable youth in the state during a time like this. We know what they are risking and putting on the line for not only our kiddos but any of us who cannot be on the front lines. Please know you are seen and greatly valued and we appreciate you more than you know! We would also like to thank our colleagues at other mental health agencies in the county as they do the same. We may not necessarily be a category that people remember in the essential category, but we assure you all that we are working tirelessly for our all our clients and each other and will keep swimming! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving from all at Summitview!!! We would like to send a special thanks to everyone who is sacrificing their time with family and friends today to serve others. We are so thankful for first responders who may not even get a special meal, but we especially want to recognize the unseen heroes! Happy Thanksgiving to those being parents, role models, and protectors to our most at need youth! We are so thankful for our staff making sure our kids and others get a proper holiday, too! Always in awe of our team! Have a wonderful holiday!!!

We are heartbroken this morning to learn of the passing of Deputy Brian Ishmael, lost in the line of duty early this morning; a deputy Summitview has worked very closely with. Every time his paths crossed ours, he interacted and served with the upmost respect, integrity, and compassion. Our county and its sheriff department won’t be the same without him. We send our deepest condolences to all of his brothers and sisters in blue and yellow, his wife and children, and all who knew him. Thank you, Deputy Ishmael, for your incredible service to us all. Your sacrifice and bravery will never be forgotten. Rest easy.
