This month, RDL+ features a collaboration with singer-songwriter Josh Boronkay. Joshua Boronkay has been making music in the Bay Area for the last decade. He finds his roots in the American songwriting tradition taking from blues, jazz, folk and hip hop. His newest record, JB Barton and Co., is due for release this summer. ... Thank you, ProArts!! We're so grateful to ProArts for opening the space to OFJS and we are infinitely grateful to Fernando Carpenter and Tracy for making OFJS happen over these years. We're also extremely grateful to the artists and audiences that have joined us over the years. We will miss you all. Oakland is still caring for Oakland. For international women’s day you should all celebrate your women/female identifying peers. Post about them as fav producers/DJs or write them a message to let ...them know you see them; they have to fight 10x as hard as you do so it’s really the least you can do. Include them on your lineups and label rosters. Help them do their thing because talent shouldn’t be constricted, especially by hegemonic repetition. EDIT: Please be sure to actually do the deed that I suggest here. Don’t just like the post: share it as well and let your people know that you appreciate them, that you want them to feel seen and empowered.
