Just received our wedding guestbook, and absolutely in love! Thank you Matthew and Joana! We love you guys.

With their wedding reception at the Pomona Valley Mining Co., a beautifully renovated gold mine that was active in the late 1800s, Victoria & Matthew took to creating a stunning vintage and rustic theme for their wedding. Their décor was nothing short of pleasant and inviting with everything from burlap signs to photos hanging from clothespins. And, in keeping with this marvelous theme, we thought it only fitting to put together a slideshow of their wedding portraits with an equally delightful rustic theme. We keep saying how wonderful all of our clients are and Victoria and Matthew are absolutely a prime example of this! From the beginning, we knew that they were determined to make their wedding day all about sharing their love and commitment with their family and friends. And, having the pleasure of capturing not one, but two engagement sessions for them, it really felt like we were just there as friends celebrating their special moments alongside their guests. Victoria and Ma...tthew's relaxed and positive energy alone was enough to make anyone truly appreciate the special connection between them, but the magic didn't stop there. So many wonderfully personalized details were displayed around the church and their reception (at the beautiful Pomona Valley Mining Co.), including hand-stitched signs, string hung photos, and even song lyrics on the wedding cake! It was certainly our pleasure to capture their story and it is a privilege share with you this glimpse of the unique love that the two of them have for each other. See more

Another one of our good friends is getting married next year and it was a real pleasure to do our friend Erin's engagement pictures! As one of Joana's best friends for many years, we have seen Erin grow in many incredible ways. While visiting Los Angeles recently, Erin introduced us to her new fiancé, James, and we couldn't be happier that she has finally met someone who understands her, loves her and gives her such a wonderful, huge smile all the time! The two of them really complement each other perfectly and we wish them a journey together full of love and happiness. For their pictures, we decided to show them some of the beautiful California landscapes in Marina del Rey, such as the gorgeous Ballona Lagoon and the stunning sunset on the beach.

We have never been about getting awards, only serving clients. But, sometimes it is nice to know we are doing our jobs well. =)
