We are preparing to open whenever San Mateo County says... YES! Here are the protocols we have been working on. At Studio J Salon, we request that if any client is starting to feel run down, has a cold, or has been in close contact with someone who is sick or tested positive for Covid-19, or traveled out of the country, that you, Do Not Come In, and wait the 14 days quarantine suggested by the CDC. We will reschedule a future appointment for you.... 1. At your appt time, Do Not arrive early, if you are more than 15 minutes late, we may have to reschedule you. There will be no waiting In the salon, appointments will be one on one, with cleaning protocols after each client. You must wear a mask, ( bring a disposable one). We will wear a mask during your appt. as well. 2. Text or call us to take your contactless forehead temperature, and escort you up to the Salon. 3. Upon entering the salon, your hands must be washed or hand sanitized. 4. There will be no salon smocks available, don't wear your favorite outfit during a color process. A clean salon drape will be used only on you. We understand your concerns, so we have outdone ourselves in preparing our business for you! The safety of our staff and our customers is essential to us, so we have: -Cleaned and/or disinfected all surfaces and implements -Laundered and disinfected all capes, towels and linens -Removed any non-essential items throughout our business -Initiated contactless methods of scheduling and payment -Acquired appropriate personal protective equipment to be used when necessary or requested -Discontinued the practice of hand shaking and other non-essential contact -Feel free to ask any of us at any time about all that we do to provide for your safety. As information and growing concerns about the coronavirus make headlines, I wanted to take the time to send out an email. The health and safety of my clients, and myself, is of the upmost importance to me. Here at Studio J Salon, we request that if any client is starting to feel run down, has a cold, or has been in close contact with someone who is sick, or has recently traveled out of the country, that you DO NOT come in, and wait the 14 days suggested by the CDC. If ...you wake up the day of your appointment not feeling well, please call/text to reschedule! Let’s all do our part to minimize the spread of this virus. I appreciate your support of my business.
