Before pictures of a standard tub/shower combo. These people were fortunate enough to have room to expand the shower, so we did.

From a bathtub to a shower, here's an idea of what goes on.

This is what a brand new shower drain looks like in a brand new hot mop shower pan. The weep holes are open and draining the water like they should. Their job is to drain whatever water makes it through the tile on the floor.

Grouting charcoal black grout is messy but it looks outstanding when it's done.

So we added a wainscot (tile halfway up the wall) and I love it. Solid surface for the seat, the rest is old school style subway set 3x6. Shower pan and niches tomorrow.

From a solid surface shower with a plastic pan, to an all tile custom enclosure, the metamorphosis has begun.

Grouted it up. It'll dry a few shades lighter and then I hope to post final pictures.
