Are you feeling tired, afternoon crash or not seeing any weight dropping? You should consider looking into your sleep cycle.... Sleep is one of many key components to improve your health and body composition. It is important to prioritize a good night's sleep. By having a consistent sleeping routine your physical, mental and wellbeing will thank you later. I like to follow a nightly routine to prepare myself to go to bed. Some of the things I do before I go to bed: Shut all electronics 1-2hr before bed to reduce blue light. Get sunlight for at least 10-15 mins during the day. Avoid caffeine after 1pm. Exercise during the day to help your body fall asleep quicker. 10-15 mins of self care - stretch, self massage and get your body in a relaxed state. I like to drink reishi tea before bed to help me get uninterrupted sleep. - There have been multiple studies on reishi and how it helps get your brain in a very deep sleeping state. ? You might be dehydrated from this crazy heat. Staying hydrated is important to keep your body operating at peak levels.... I use the Charles Poliquin formula to optimize water intake. What you'll do is multiply your body by 2/3 to figure out how much ounces of water to drink. Here is an example case study: If you weigh 160lb x .6 = 96oz 96 oz of water per day would be a good starting range for this individual.
