What role does fatigue play in this? What does scripture say? Our guest is Carrie Johnson, LMFT. Carrie is a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in people pleasers, perfectionists, and overachievers of all ages. In today's confusing and polarized political culture, Christians seek biblical guidance for voting in this upcoming election. Yet, what happens when scriptural support is used to vote for either candidate? How can Christians navigate their disagreements with both truth and love? If you want to have these types of conversations with friends, adult children, or others join us for practical tools. Tim Muehlhoff and Rick Langer provide lessons from Scripture, conflict theory, and church history to help us negotiate differing biblical convictions while preserving unity.

EUC 15 What was the Early Church like? What can we learn?

Fullerton Free Community Groups- Stronger Together 10.08.2020

Here are the questions Tim mentioned in last night's Equip U Conversation. Use these to check your humility. 1. Even when you feel strongly about something, are you still aware you could be wrong? 2. Do you trust that truth has nothing to fear from investigation? 3. Do you reserve the right to change your mind? Or do you feel weak or ashamed to change a strongly held belief? 4. Do you feel like you need to hide past errors in your thinking?... 5. Do you approach others with the idea that you might have something to learn from them? See more
