St. Peter's by the Sea Lutheran Church

Worship on Sept 1 will include a Baptism (Welcome, Chance Henry) and one of our Confirmation Candidate's Faith Statement (yea, Maya). All Are Welcome.

Bishop Taylor and Pr. Terry Tuvey-Allen just sat down with St. Peter's Congregation Council, the Transition Team, and the Call Committee. Pray that they all are open to the work of the Holy Spirit, that they will have courage and joy in this transition work, and of course, God be praised.

A call committee was elected and installed at St. Peter's this morning. Holy Spirit, fill them and be with them in this new mission. They will be meeting with the Bishop and Synod staff this Saturday to begin their work. Thank you for serving: Joan Allton, Colleen Doering, Carolyn Irby, Rosemary Sutter, John Smart and Scott Walls.

Our VBS campers are learning a very special hula. They will present their song tonight before the pizza and ice cream party. This has been an amazing week! Thank you, Kara, for leading your 1st VBS so very successfully.

the morning starts with a worship committee meeting...then 9:30am Worship on Good Samaritan Sunday. Praying for all who are impacted by the ICE activities across our country. Praying for our neighbors at First Lutheran who will be voting today to call their next pastor. Praying for those who are sick and those who are healing. Praying for Dante on his birthday.

Listening to the organist practice before worship lifts my spirits! And ... we have a baptism this morning! Come join the joyful celebration during this "ordinary time" in the church year. 9:30am worship at St. Peter's by the Sea.

Good morning! All Are Welcome to St. Peters by the Sea. Worship at 9:30 this morning with Father Mark Spalding preaching. Pastor Marohn will preside at the altar. Fr. Spalding is here with a group of "mission builders" from the Episcopal Churches in Alameda Conference in the Bay Area. They built a house on Sat. in Mexico! Good work, brothers and sisters. Confirmation Class at 11am today.

Ascension Day Almighty God, your only Son was taken into the heavens and in your presence intercedes for us. Receive us and our prayers for all the world, and in the end bring everything into your glory. Amen.
