To The People of St. Margaret Mary: The grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you. If God were to speak to us today in the midst of everything that is going on at home and abroad what would His message to our world be? ... In times past God sent prophets, as He did to His Chosen People, the children of Israel, delivering to them God's message. He sent John The Baptist, the greatest of the ancient prophets, who the Chosen People to repentance. Ultimately, God sent His Son, His definitive Word to His People and by extension to the world. In the midst of all of the events in our time, God's message to us remains His Word Made Flesh, who on Christmas was revealed as a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. In the fullness of time, He Who is Prince of Peace and Lord of lords will bring true and lasting justice and peace to our society and to the rest of the world. The Letter to the Hebrews reads: "God, who in diverse manners spoke in times past to the fathers by the prophets, last of all in these days hath spoken to us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by Whom also He made the world." (Heb. 1:1-2). Christ Our Lord---His Gospel message, His command to follow Him and to love God above all and one's neighbor as oneself, His Cross and Resurrection--is the singular message that the Church has proclaimed throughout the centuries, because He is the only path to lasting peace and joy. I would like to invite you to join us as we celebrate the Nativity of Our Lord at the liturgies below. NB: On December 24, the Parish will proceed with the 10pm Mass at Night and the Midnight Mass, as is our custom and practice for many years now.
