Our UCON impressive young scholarship winners. Here is Gabriela Castellanos receiving her scholarship check. She brought her mom, Maria, and met with Guy Smith... of St. Francis Electric for a meet and greet/photo op. Fun facts: Her dad, Clemente, has worked for St. Francis for 20 years. Her uncle and her dad's best friend, also work there! Gabriela is moving into the dorms this week and will start UC Berkeley next Wednesday (she plans on becoming a pediatrician). She is the youngest of her 3 siblings, and the last one to go off to college. Congratulations Gabriela! #UCONAwards St Francis Electric

Vote NO on Prop 6, the attack on road and bridge safety. According to a recent report by TRIP, "Only 18 percent of roadways are considered "good" in Sacramento..., and 12 percent are rated fair. With poor roadways coming in at 41 percent, and 29 percent rated mediocre, this means about 70 percent of the area's paved roads are considered unsatisfactory..." Prop 6 would eliminate much needed funding for hundreds of local improvement projects in the Sacramento Region. Vote NO on Prop 6! See more

New Holophane Street Lighting and Festoon Lighting at Hillcrest and Broadway On October 10th, St Francis Electric began work to install four brand new decorativ...e street lights at the four corners of the Hillcrest and Broadway intersection. This is the final piece to be completed for the downtown enhancement pilot project that started last fall. The work is expected to be completed in six to eight weeks.

Over the nex...t few months, construction on the approach road from the Presidio and the San Francisco and Marin towers began. In six months, the Marin (north) tower was done. One of our largest projects completed was entered in this competition -Doyle Drive/ Presidio Parkway.
