Hi everyone, today I would like to talk about pigments, so you might want to and save this post, just keep it handy! Of course, we all want our clients to have the best results once their skin heals, we would love to predict how the color will look like once healed, and we wish for eyebrows to last a long time, BUT, not everything will be the way we want it to be. Have you heard your clients say I don’t have anything left, or maybe I didn’t want them so brigh...t? If you have, this post it’s for you: ¿Which pigments should I use to get good retention? ¿Which pigment will give me the desired results? Maybe this will help you decide ¿What’s a pigment? Is a dry substance, and what we use to work is a ready-to-use product that contains various solvents, thickeners, that together are ultimately the pigments we use. Check for the base of the pigment: There are glycerin-based and water-alcohol based pigments, the last ones are more liquid and will get into the skin a little easier and faster. Understand the composition organic (synthetics) or inorganic (minerals): Organics have a smaller size of particles, brighter and more saturated, easier to implant, large residues, but also stay longer, and it is necessary to work superficially. Inorganic (mainly based on iron oxide), the size of particles is larger, persistent, but not as bright. It kind of forgives mistakes if you drown out a little.
