Stefffan Manor update Greetings families and staff, I would like to thank all the families and parents that took the time and energy to help us get off to an amazing start of the school year given all the unprecedented activity that's happening around us. Without all of you, the staff at Steffan Manor wouldn't be able to do the things we do, so Thank you! ... There are a few things I would like to point out in regards to how we are going to be conducting business in the coming weeks/months. I will attempt to keep you as informed as possible by sending you weekly/bi-weekly communications via parent square. Starting next week, lunch will be free for any kids under 18 years of age. Parents are still encouraged to come pick lunch for the little ones. I would also advise you to get there early so the lunches don't run out. We are done distributing books with the exception of about 40 or so students. Please call and make an appointment if you need to pick up books and materials. There will be no walk-in service at the school. If an appointment is not made, no service will be available. Appointments are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 to 3:00 The past two weeks teachers have been trying to assess students. Please speak with your child and make sure that they have taken the assessment so their teachers can effectively plan and instruct according to your child's needs. The District is still in the process of hiring a Resource teacher for our Special Education Program. Some of you may have been reached out to about getting services from a teacher from another school. If you are interested in receiving services for your child, from a resource teacher from another school, please let me know and I will get your child set up. Also, there will be no classes on Monday, it's Labor Day Weekend. Take care and enjoy the Labor Day weekend Dr. McCain

Wow! What a great turn out the first couple of days! We are still making sure our students can get logged on and training them to use the resources, but it has been great! Good job families! Getting our students to school every day (albeit, virtually) is incredibly important not only for academic achievement, but the social interactions our kids are craving in a topsy-turvy pandemic world. Keep up the great work!

We had an amazing turn out for school supplies, masks, books, backpacks, emergency kits and more! The line went for what seemed like miles! Thank you Mesai’s Merry Toy Drive, Benicia Mask Makers, Another Chapter, Diaz & Loera Centro Latino, Project Blessing Bags, Rebuilding Together and Community Presbyterian Church for all the work you did to make this possible. Thank you Victoria Grace, our new ASP Academic Support Provider!
