MandoBasso is a duo featuring Gunnar Biggs on bass and Bill Bradbury on mandolin. Their mutual love of Irish and traditional American music brought them together in this unusual pairing. MandoBasso performances include arrangements of traditional music, new compositions, classical music, jazz and ragtime. Biggs is an accomplished jazz musician who has played with many of the greats. This week's TRAVEL TIP: How To Take Professional Travel Photos When you're at the beach: Beaches are best at sunset and sunrise when the light is easier to work with. Avoid shooting during the middle of the day, because the overhead light is harsh and difficult to work with. Also, avoid the clichéd sand-and-sky shot, look for something interesting to focus your image on.... Food: The secret here is to also find really good light. Natural light is best, but if you can't find it, be creative with what you have available. Napkins make nice reflectors. Seascapes: Seascapes are all about those incredible blues of the ocean.
