Stanislaus County public transit operators have extended their Free Fare promotion through the end of August. Transit riders can continue to ride MAX, StaRT, and Turlock Transit free of charge thanks to the Low Carbon Transportation Operations Program funding that the StanCOG Policy Board allocated for this purpose. .
